Maybe you can say that I have not lived in NYC long enough, but from my experience NYC has a lot of bad areas and very few good and even less if you would consider living there permenantly, compared to Toronto which is the reverse of that. I can only think of maybe two streets in the GTA where I could go and say that I would never live there. I've been to Japan, China, most Slavic countries, and like 6 American states.
