They were rising every single election without fail, that's when the media started REALLY pushing UKIP, they pushed them as counter culture, as the underdog, as the fringe, they kept pushing them and pushing them and then the BNP, which was an actual nationalist party with actual nationalist views was BTFO in 2015, all of their voters went to the United Kingdom "Bring in 50,000 more pakis" independence party.
UKIP were nothing but a friendly right of centre party created as a safety valve so nobody would vote for the BNP.
