I lived in Krueuzberg >>59965734 for two months, this is pretty accurate though. Definitely don't be waking around alone at night there (we always walked together in large groups, very typical for Americans there) and most of the crimes are committed by degenerate third generation Turkish high school dropouts whose grandparents were the poor and uneducated immigrant workers imported by Germany for cheap labor and never properly nationalized them. The older Turks are more simple than anything, but it's the fucking kids that travel in packs and jump others/cause problems. Steel toed boots were recommended to me from a German guy as a method to help defend yourself, bit of a stretch tbqh but throwing it out there for you.
But on the positive side...Döner kebabs are some of the cheapest meals you can find for 2 euro, great beer, the Euro Cup was terrific fun, I liked the club scene a lot, wine is cheap as hell (as is most food), lots of stores close down by six or seven, most German people were super friendly, fairly clean city because of their bottle redemption program, public transportation (ubong?) Was great, lots of history that's accessible inside and outside the immediate area.

Move to Berlin-Marzahn, it is ex-DDR area with some poverty but low crime rates and literally NO arabs/muslims. It also became quite green within the last 5 years. It has a good connection to the central parts when you use the S-Bahn and the lowest rents in the city.
Köpenick and Hohenschönhausen are also not as degenerate as the central and western parts of the city. Both are quite right-wing and pro-white (some will vote a leftists party but they still hate migrants)
