In the southwest states there are tribes of fullblooded natives. Here in California, there are Indian Rancherias, but a lot of the "Indians" are heavily admixed with other races, and there are a lot of tribe members with no native ancestry at all.

There are a few tribes that are doing okay, like the Navajo Nation, who will probably manage to overcome their problems and retain their language and culture long into the future, despite the monstrous challenges they face. But most of them are finished and will fade until there's none of them left.
