They are building a gigantic stadium that no one wants, and because of it they stopped expanding the Metro on the high bank after building only one station, and are building it in the direction of stadium instead. It's typical local retardation.
Apart from that, not much. Nice modern buildings are getting built everywhere, but often in bad spots, and traffic is getting worse and worse every year. Still, I'd say it's one of the nicest places to live in Russia.
