Face it, Trump is a loser: if he had invested the money inherited from his father in a mutual fund that tracked the S&P 500 and not done anything else to make money, he'd be close to 3 times wealthier than he is now.

>inb4 hurr job creator deal maker

That money would have been used to create jobs. He likes to make deals, deals that have lost money, so he's just Happy Gilmore spending his family money on a hobby, the latest one being running for president

He hasn't said anything OVERTLY racist, but his statements pander to racists, his dogwhistle politics encourages racism

Once the field narrows down to 3 or 4 candidates after Iowa the establishment's 30% will fall in behind Rubio, who will eclipse the fading Trump

>tracked the S&P 500 and not done anything else to make money, he'd be close to 3 times wealthier than he is now.

actually the claim is that he would have the same net worth as he has now

this only works if:

>he never payed any taxes for 30 years
>never had living expenses (he had a lavish lifestyle)
>never lost money due to bad business movements
>>
>>57520991
This has been consistently disproven on /biz/

And:
>Went through TWO divorces. Both times his wives rekt his fortune, especially his first one.

>He hasn't said anything OVERTLY racist

Then he's not racist you fuckwit. /thread

So what you're saying is that Trump is a highly skilled fund manager?

>trumpfags on suicide watch

trumpfags are having the time of their life. /pol/ has overtaken /b/ as the meme machine of 4chen. and the dankest of the dank are trump related. this guy's presidential campaign is gonna be studied for decades to come. it's a rollercoaster ride of happiness and fun times.

and he's pissing off low energy beta male libtards from obscure countries like canada, australia, and euro shitholes not worth mentioning. when's the last time an amerifat made a thread about a presidential candidate from another country? never.

tl;dr op has HUUUGE amount of asspain. TREMENDOUS amounts.

>>57520991
Yeah OP I agree
Starting 104 successful companies isn't in anyway impressive

I don't do it for the money. I’ve got enough, much
more than I ’ll ever need. I do it to do it. Deals are
my art form. Other people paint beautifully on
canvas or write wonderful poetry. I like making deals,
preferably big deals. That’s how I get my kicks.
Most people are surprised by the way I work. I play
it very loose. I don't carry a briefcase. I try not to
schedule too many meetings. I leave my door open.
You can’t be imaginative or entrepreneurial if you’ve
got too much structure. I prefer to come to work each
day and just see what develops. - Trump

I like him too I just don't think he looks presidential - there is no humility there. 25% of republicans say they will NEVER vote for Trump, what about non republicans? Once people realise he can't beat Hilary he will crash

Why would this be a bad thing? I wish he was overtly racist. We need overt racism. The western world has gone completely fucking insane because people refuse to acknowledge that there are fundamental differences between the races.

I agree about racism, the western world also needs to realise that we have a target on our back - that white people are resented, even hated...

But the racism tag has stuck and it will turn enough voters off him to make him unelectable

>>57520991
Who liquidates all of their assets and then invests the entire sum into an index fund? Nobody, that's who.

I mean, you have the same option OP. Sell your house, sell your furniture, sell your car, liquidate your retirement fund, and invest all of it into mutual fund. You could get started right now if you wanted to.

You're being stupid if you don't, right?

Chapter 11 restructuring bankruptcies are not the same as Chapter 7 liquidation bankruptcies.

Fun facts:

In 2 out of Trump's 4 Chapter 11s, he was only a minority shareholder, and the other shareholders initiated the restructuring. He had no say in it.

It's commonly pointed out that Trump's bankruptcies were 4 out of 100s of companies. This is technically true, but it's actually even less than 4 companies. It was the same company each time, the company was just renamed after each restructuring. It's the same problem company. It's a problem company because the city the properties that belong to the holding company are in is a problem city, Atlantic City. Anybody who is even remotely with AC knows it's nothing but Detroit with casinos. There's only so much you can do in a city that is in perpetual decline.

The same lenders -- the very same ones -- kept lending to this same company after each restructuring. Why do you think that is? Why would creditors keep lending money to a problem company that periodically files for Chapter 11 to restructure the debt? Do you have a coherent answer?

And finally, all except the first Chapter 11, which was admittedly rough on Trump, were profitable endeavors for Trump Organization. After the first restructuring, Trump learned how to game the system, and realized that restructurings can be profitable experiences. That's the kind of quick learner Trump is.

Wow, it's almost like you can find all sorts of ways you could have made money in the past when you have the hindsight of 100% accuracy as to how events will play out. Awesome use of the Texas sharpshooter fallacy to be honest family.
