cocaine was huge from the mid 70s to early 90s, ecstasy's popularity peaked in the 90s
the same people who were smoking weed and dropping acid in the late 60s moved on to blow in the 70s and 80s, both acid and coke are drugs of the boomers, though early gen xers did plenty of coke as well. ecstasy is deinitely the gen x drug, and millenials doing adderall and other amphetamines is spot on
