There are plenty of decent Muslims. They are the ones that integrate into whatever culture they move into properly. They assimilate to whatever is native, and don't let their religion influence their decision making if it conflicts with that culture. They don't follow Sharia beyond their own person, e.g. don't drink, and don't force it on others. They denounce other Muslims that start shit.
The problem is that by default Islam is incompatible with everything that isn't Islam. And it needs to be monitored for those that don't adhere to the above. And multiculturalism has made it so that we can't force them to assimilate or kick them out. If they won't assimilate they should be forced to go be Muslim somewhere else.
If we could just get rid of multiculturalism so that we can finally start denouncing in public shit which conflicts with our native cultures, and kick out the fuckers that don't agree. Both yes and no. I have known more than a few from working in transport that do Muslim stuff like not drink or eat pork, and do the prayer thing. But they are just regular everyday people. They do not agree with ISIS and all that shit. They have arguably integrated.
Sadly they do seem to be a minority. But they have shown that they can integrate to a degree. The prayer thing can be an issue on occasion since it can conflict with work, but they give it a fair go and we give them one back.
The rule of thumb I tend to use is what they say when you ask them what they are. If they say Australian first, they have a chance of being the kind of people we want. If they say Muslim first, they chances are they need to fuck off. This is an amazingly welcoming country if you just try to fit in and not start shit. And can handle the bantz. religious studies - the islam version. Finland has religion in age 7-18 curriculum. if you are part of a non-christian religion (russian orthdox is the second big oen here) you just didn't hav a teacher so you are either directed to "philosophical studies" or you just don't have to go.
