Since obongocare was passed insurance companies no longer have to provide decent service. I basically have a little better than minimum coverage required by law through my company to avoid the fee because i haven't been sick or truly injured in like 15 years. The back thing went away after a few days. I have like a $5k deductible so if i get seriously injured I'll only have to pay $5k but almost everything up to that i have to pay for.

Cleaning up the immigration laws would be a good start. It's extremely difficult for a foreigner to get a working visa regardless of their qualifications - I should know, I have a PhD, plenty of publications, two patents and getting a visa is a massive pain in the butt even though there's a company that wants to employ me.
With an easier way to get qualified people in the country, the US would get plenty of doctors educated in foreign education systems that don't leave you with a massive debt. That should drive the prices of the medical care down.
