Nothing. As always.
He "sets the guidelines" for Russia's future development, but literally no one gives a shit really.
>>
>>57366953
mostly local agenda, but in the beginning he said some very harsh things about Erdogan and turkish elites. "You think that our response will be limited to [sanctions on] oranges? You are wrong. We have planned our response and we will execute it. It will hit you hard. We know what to do and we will do it."

Im pretty sure they already have someone to replace him. Medvedev, probably (pretty good, imao)

You mean Putin's little puppet? Who never did anything without Putin's permission while being president? A puppet wihout a puppeteer is useless.

According to the chief editor of Echo Moskvy - one of the most respected radio stations in Russia, Putin once said that if you don't respect Medvedev or think he is not worthy - you're disrespecting me because he was hand picked by me to lead Russia.

He will support YPG, and with both American and Russian support, they will unite the cantons, making it much harder for le Grand Sultan to supply the rebels.

There already are reports of Russia delivering arms to YPG in the Turksh media.

Great, Putin chose the next president but Medvedev is no puppet because Putin chose him and Putin wants his puppet to be respected.

Ankara is more central than Istanbul, and thus much harder to invade.
>>
>>57369742
Whatever you say, Hans.
>>
>>57369760

I understand the logic behind it, I just think Constantinople should be a capital because it's such an important city. Kind of like how Washington DC being America's capital makes sense, but New York would feel more natural.
>>

Great arguments. We'll see how fuckep up your country will be, if your puppet cannot think and act on its own.

Ankara had quite a lot importance during independece war back in 1919-1922. its a tribute to ankara actually. and it was also done in order to denounce ottoman empire further and anything related with it.

so atatürk literally wanted to say, "ottoman empire is done, we are now a new nation".
>>
Russians anons, what are some good russian products to import and sell? With the amount of high tech things you made during the cold war there must be many things you can make very well. But unlike china you don't make much effort to export them so we can't really find things unless we know some russians.

Russia is generally shit when it comes to consumer products.
Russia is good in engineering and other narrow uncommon fields though.

>tfw Putin says that turkish people are good, hard-working folk

>"We do not generalize turkish people and part of their current government elite, which is directly responsible for deaths of our soldiers in Syria. We will not forget those terrorist collaborators. We have always considered betrayal to be the most vile and despicable action. Let it be known to those turkish people who shot our pilots in their backs, those hypocrites trying to cover up their own crimes and shelter the terrorists. I still don't know why they did this. Any problems and arguments that may have not even been known to us could be solved in a completely different manner. We were ready to cooperate with Turkey even on the most sensitive issues and go even further with our support than their allies ever could. I suppose only Allah knows why they did this. And it seems that Allah has decided to punish the government elite in Turkey by taking away their reason."

Ayyyy.

pipelines, pipeline accessories, wires, that's what I know of since I have some relation to it.
Also our media reports that finns are traveling to St Petersburg to buy cheap winter tires and other stuff.
Everything we do is crazy cheap now, we have great opportunity to rise up like never before. If I were rich european i'd invest at least half of all my money in Russia now. No better time.

>Russia is good in engineering and other narrow uncommon fields though.
Not so much consumer things, for example suddenly very powerful electric motors are valuable due to the rapid advances in batteries. But companies skilled in the production of large motors and controller circuits are rare. There's probably many russian factories that made high powered electric engine thrusters for submarines and boats. Opto-electric products that were once military tech are now popular as consumer goods, thermal vision is used for many things industrial things, but there's little competition amongst western suppliers. Production of titanium parts would be popular as well as Russia is known for having good experience in that.

People would buy many old military vehicles and hulls as well. They're popular for conversions to civilian off road vehicles. But we only know how to get them from the ukraine. Things like old BMD-1 would be popular if anyone could work out how to buy them.
>>

We have a very bad cigarettes and a lot of fakes. Preferred cigarettes in the United States. After the introduction of the euro standard cigarettes in Russia are full of shit.
>>

Because until the price of a ten pack of cigarettes lays around $10 your anti-smoking policies aren't doing shit.
>>

A pack of Marlboro in Russia ~1.5$ but that is Russian Marlboro by Russian standards.

$10 in Russia it is not bad money. 92% of russians have wage below $1000 in month
>>
>>57371620
You can buy industrial plants in Russia, which went bankrupt and closed. But in Russia hard to have medium and large business because of government pressure and corruption. These plants quickly will plunder for scrap metal. Russian industry is deteriorating, many import from abroad.

Is there any good websites for locating russian services? At the moment I need a micro controller & software reverse engineered and some basic circuit boards designed. I can get it done in china but they have many bad habits when it comes to software and circuit board design.

There's many skilled people in eastern europe and russia for these tasks but locating them is much harder than in china.

This brand cigarettes, but by Russian standards. Their quality is shit, but you can try. Connoisseurs are trying to buy original cigarettes in the US, but not smoking cheap Marlboro by Russian production.

It's beyond me why russia is not an economic superpower anymore.
You have tons of resources, low wages and tons of experience.
Maybe try to invest some of that wealth from gas and oil into new factories?
>>

Cigarette quality a shit here too m8, but they're still taxed out the ass so that even the cheapest ones are still a significant drain if you smoke habitually. So long as the cheap Russian cigarettes contain nicotine and don't kill you immediately it's all good.

All electronics are imported from China. Russia has long wanted to organize the production of micro-electronics, but there is no success. Maybe there is a chip for a rare specializations like missiles or sputniks. But civil Radio-and microchips are all Chinese imports. see it http://www.mikron.ru/ this our Plant microchips. It recently is PR as a great achievement, but I doubt. Maybe you're lucky

We can't produce quality consumer goods. It runs counter to our entire national character. We export weapons, nuclear reactors, aerospace stuff, helicopters etc, but smaller stuff simply doesn't grasp our imagination. Russia does nation-wide ideological mobilizations well, but just everyday small stuff? Not worth the bother.
