It really is. The worst thing about it is that if you put forward a dissenting opinion, it will get downvoted into oblivion and not even appear to be viewable anymore.
yesterday they censored a first hand account of a white person attending a BLM protest
the protesters became violent with the author of the story
which made me realize that BLM have every right to protest and organize and create chaos- but they should not be violent and it will be their downfall.
non-violence is a proven tactic for protest. otherwise they just kill you.

And for the record, this tidbit was on a subreddit for Torchlight 2 in a thread about Diablo 3 vs Torchlight 2.

I got in an argument once over there when someone began rambling about how wasteful society was, and therefore everyone deserved to have their quality of living capped so that they didn't have as much money to devote to wasteful things.
I futilely tried to explain the ethical minefield that was unless it was a voluntary measure.
I was accused of being heartless and evil because I didn't want to fucking rob other people of their shit. Like I have some fucking right to hurt others or take their crap because I know better.

You know you'd think that Reddit would be one of the most informed places with the downvote button. Ironic how it's now used as the "shut up" button.
I wonder what happened to make them so ignorant?
>>57359770
man i don't make much sense when im tired
when i say 'they censored' i mean REDDIT censored a story. it lasted 4mins but it was just way too edgy for reddit. can't handle someone's firsthand account of something that happened to them. to risky. can't put anyone in a bad light best just delete it.
going to reddit and believing that they have free and open dialogue there is willful ignorance.
what you are actually reading is only that which is left over after all the
censorship
