My opinion on the website might be unpopular, but that doesn't mean their aren't non /pol users who don't agree with me. There just aren't as many who disagree with me, resulting in my post/comment getting less visibility under the default 'Most Popular' category, making Reddit look like a liberal hivemind. However you get a completely different story on Reddit if you switch that default to Controversial. The internet provides all types of corners for people to hide and circlejerk in.
