I'm in Cali, and we're all armed to the teeth up here. Plenty of lifetime NRA members in my family and friends. I guess I'm not much of a joiner, and I'm still pissed off as fuck about my patriotism being questioned when I asked who was going to pay for the Iraq invasion. I have lingering resentment for the GOP (don't worry, I hate the Dems even more) and I view the NRA as being inextricably intertwined with them- hence my reservations.
