Researchers at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT have engineered changes to the revolutionary CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing system that significantly cut down on "off-target" editing errors. The refined technique addresses one of the major technical issues in the use of genome editing.

>Where are all the black single mother geneticists?
Maybe if these women stepped up and did groundbreaking research at the Broad Institute, they might be onstage instead of behind their twitter feeds. Jus saying

>we demonstrate that “enhanced specificity” SpCas9 (eSpCas9) variants reduce off-target effects and maintain robust on-target cleavage. Thus, eSpCas9 could be broadly useful for genome editing applications requiring a high level of specificity.

Yes, genetic disease is a necessary thing to have freedom or happiness right?
Some lives living in abject pain and dying before the age of 15 is surely necessary to have leisure.

Why are they mad that they didn't become a scientist and decided to write tweets professionally?

Pretty nice stuff overall. My pepole once tried to edit the whole human gene pool. Today we are reaping the fruits of our failure.
Apart from that the only real argument against eugenics is our lack of understanding how genes work and how to influence them.

Any female scientist that would qualify decided to drop out for a couple of years to have kids and fell behind male scientists who continued to produce work and stayed at the top of the field.
>>57275187
Oh, and lets not forgot that the female scientist was allowed to retire earlier while the males continued to work well past the normal legal limit giving them greater recognition.

The second someone tries to genetically induce super-intelligence in humans, the leftists will never stop shrieking.
China is where the great genetics research happens. They have no moral qualms about making supermen. They might make deformed mutants or Khan Noonien Singh, but they might also make a superior humanity.
guys I figured it out, corn is behind 9/11!!!!

>ban or regulate
If years of "war on drugs", prohibition and illegal abortion should have thought us a single thing, it's that it's impossible to ban something if people want it badly enough.
Since this method can be used at home, with low costs and almost no equipment, banning it would only lead to a gigantic black market.
Imagine gangbangers getting their fixes of gorilla muscles in backyard shops.
plenty of genius women scientits. like cispr the thing why everyone is so hype was invented by a woman.
