i'm not religious but I'm from the south and people down here tend to be pretty religious. Whenever people want to say a prayer or anything, i just shut my mouth and let them have it. It doesn't effect me in any way and it only takes a minute.
But I'm an adult who gets laid so my experiences might be different than yours.
I don't get it. Why do atheists care so much? If it's all fake anyways, why not go through the motions and make everyone around you happy for upholding a tradition that's been part of your culture for millennia.
It seems to me that atheists spend a lot more time thinking about religion than most religious people, yet constantly brag about how they are free from the intellectual burdens of Christianity.
