What modifications have you made to redpill your diet /pol/
I recently have had some digestive issues due to shit diet in general and too much pizza. Over the past few months I've implemented some real changes and have see the difference in my bloating and constipation. I added probiotics and take enzymes with my meals. Now I shit evey morning. Sticking to a mainly paleo diet; I put meat on the plate and surround it with vegetables. Also a lot of eggs in the morning. Hoping to gain some weight; 5'11" and weigh 160

>>56796737
I've always enjoyed smorrebrod you could incorporate that
I've fallen off the bandwagon a couple of times but was happy to see I tolerated it well, won't go back to eating like a degenerate... Frozen meals, dingy Moore beef stew, always having leftover pizza in the fridge, lots of gas station and convience food
Does a number on your gut flora, really affected me after a few years maybe I was predisposed
Would be interested in the iron pill diet
No sugar, no dairy, and nothing containing yeast or grains including all alcohol.
I take a multivitamin as well as L-Theanine, Vitamin C, D3, magnesium, zinc, caprylic acid, berberine, and a probiotic. I cycle my probitoics each month as well.
I avoid all caffine and drink only water. Distillled not filtered.
Remember if there's no protein in it, it's a snack not a meal.
Reminder: Snacks are how you get fat, avoid them.

The hardest thing for me has been cutting coffee. I've cut down drastically but still ha e a couple of cups in the morning where I would used to drink coffee until around 2pm, it'd amount to a whilst pot somethimes more. Also cut grains and yeast and am looking for the right multi vitamin to add

Breakfast, I am bad, but I do a lot of construction work through the day so it burns off. Usually a microwave breakfast burrito or two as I am running out the door when it is still dark, one can of Dew Throwback because I hate coffee.
Lunch, usually dinner leftovers from the day before.
Dinner, grilled or broiled fish or chicken, pan grilled veggies, maybe some rice or a potato.
About once every two weeks we have one real dinner out, usually Japanese hibachi. Sometimes Mexican. Maybe one pizza a month from a local place.
Three to four nights in the gym a week. Cardio and weights.
We are both down about fifty pounds in the last year.
Low carb or ketogenic diets are some of the worst things you could ever force upon yourself. You are placing yourself in an inflammatory famine like state. Have fun losing your insulin sensitivity and essentially becoming a diabetic. Most people who end up following this fad come out worse then when they started. Neurotic goyims baka.
I suggest you start to look at health from a biochemists perspective and stop reading pseudo fairy tale science.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12800094
"...Insulin resistance is associated with increased circulating lipids and skeletal muscle lipid content. Chronic nicotinic acid (NA) treatment reduces insulin sensitivity and provides a model of insulin resistance. We hypothesized that the reduction in insulin sensitivity occurs via elevation of circulating nonesterified fatty acids (NEFAs) and an increase in intramyocellular lipid (IMCL). A total of 15 nondiabetic males (mean age 27.4 +/- 1.6 years) were treated with NA (500 mg daily for 1 week, 1 g daily for 1 week). Insulin sensitivity (glucose infusion rate [GIR]) was determined pre- and post-NA by euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp. Substrate oxidation was determined by indirect calorimetry. Skeletal muscle lipid was assessed by estimation of long-chain acyl-CoA (LCACoA) and triglyceride (TG) content and by (1)H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy quantification of IMCL (n = 11). NA reduced GIR (P =.03) and nonoxidative glucose disposal (P <.01) and increased fasting NEFAs (P =.01). The decrease in GIR related significantly to the increase in fasting NEFAs (r(2) =.30, P =.03). The intrasubject increase in basal and clamp fat oxidation correlated with the decrease in GIR (r(2) =.45, P <.01 and r(2) =.63, P <.01). There were no significant changes in muscle LCACoA, TG, or IMCL content. Therefore, induction of insulin resistance by NA occurs with increased availability of circulating fatty acids to muscle rather than with increased muscle lipid content."
That is the randle cycle. The randle cycle shows us that fatty acids and glucose compete in the serum for utilization. Randle believed diabetes should be called fatty acid syndrome because it was clear that excessive fatty acids were blocking glucose oxidation. What causes high fatty acid release? Starvation, stress, high estrogen, high serotonin too name a few.

"...Increased interest in using omega-3 fatty acids led us to examine their metabolic effects in six men with type II (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus. After 1 month of a diet supplemented with these fatty acids, the patients' fasting glucose rose from 13.1 +/- 1.3 to 15.3 +/- 1.3 mmol/L (P = 0.03) and glucose area during a mixed meal profile rose by 22% (P = 0.04). Basal hepatic glucose output rose from 97 +/- 9 to 122 +/- 8 mg/m2 . min (P = 0.004) but glucose disposal rates measured by euglycemic glucose clamp were unchanged. Fasting insulin levels were similar; peak insulin levels stimulated by meals or intravenous glucagon fell by 30% and 39%, respectively. Plasma and erythrocyte content of omega-3 fatty acid rose significantly. After omega-3 fatty acid withdrawal, fasting glucose returned to baseline. Omega-3 fatty acid treatment in type II diabetes leads to rapid but reversible metabolic deterioration, with elevated basal hepatic glucose output and impaired insulin secretion but unchanged glucose disposal rates. Caution should be used when recommending omega-3 fatty acids in type II diabetic persons."

"...The low-serotonin theory is the basis for commonly prescribed anti-depressant medications called selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, which keep the neurotransmitter's levels high by blocking its re-absorption into the cells that release it. Those serotonin-boosting medications actually make it harder for patients to recover, especially in the short term, says lead author Paul Andrews, an assistant professor of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster...When depressed patients on SSRI medication do show improvement, it appears that their brains are actually overcoming the effects of anti-depressant medications, rather than being assisted directly by them. Instead of helping, the medications appear to be interfering with the brain's own mechanisms of recovery."
"...The best available evidence appears to show that there is more serotonin being released and used during depressive episodes, not less, the authors say. The paper suggests that serotonin helps the brain adapt to depression by re-allocating its resources, giving more to conscious thought and less to areas such as growth, development, reproduction, immune function, and the stress response."
People still think that serotonin is the feel good hormone?...... Don't you find it odd that serotonin in excess can kill you? Are you aware that high serotonin is linked to agression?

I just keep it simple and avoid sugar/bread, nothing fancy or hard to remember. I think the biggest thing you can do for yourself is to plan out your diet for the week. I just went to a dollar store and got a bunch of pic related so I can have salads ready for the week. My biggest obstacle is breakfast, trying to get enough energy for the beginning of my day is hard for some reason, I try eating oatmeal with peanut butter but it just doesn't give me enough of a boost for the day. Not really.
Iodine is taken in a case of some radioactive events, so the body wont metabolise radioactive iodine isotopes, that are trown in atmosphere during the explosions of working reactors, but it requires excess of iodine and in a long therm this is not much better, than iodine defficiency.

Well it depends on your overall health really. The state of the liver determines how much glycogen can be stored in it. So for young people this means that they can get by for very long periods of time without eating but still be oxidizing glucose because their liver is can store large amounts of glucose. On the other hand there are people proven to be able to store glucose for only several minutes because their health has so far deteriorated. In that instance they instantly revert back to burning fatty acids for energy. When your fatty acids are highly unstarturated(from eating a diet high in unstaturated oils), you are going to have strong interference with your throid function which is going to make you a sluggish person, unless you really get a pump from running on cortisol and adrenaline all day that is. There are a lot of factors to think about, like the type of lightning you are under, how much sleep you get, and other life stressors as well. Diet is just one part. You can try taking niacinamide to lower free fatty acids and hopefully restore some metabolic function or try eating more frequently. I would avoid foods that have a lot of seed oils in them.

Thyroid hormone supplementation(T3) can work wonders for some people as well. You can talk to your doctor about that. Be aware that Hypothyroidism is the number one health problem. Standardized medical tests adjust TSH readings to the populations average health. So even though you are probably hypothyroid, your doctors probably won't mention it. Anything over a 1 on TSH is hypothyroid.
Pic related. That is what extreme hypothyroidism looks like and what thyroid supplementation can do.

And aren't the same thing nutritionally. Go drink a bottle of hydrogen peroxide if you think differences don't matter. Modern grains are not the same thing as ancient grains.
>>56811052
Yep. Sleep is super important as is quality. Going to sleep hungry leads to poor sleep. Not suggesting you should eat a mountain of food before bed but a bedtime snack can drastically improve sleep quality. Something easy to digest like ice cream :). Adrenaline and cortisol can rise very easily during sleep due to running out of glucose. I think there is a strong connection between nightmares and sudden waking. But yeah sleep deprivation can directly cause hypothyroidism.

On the other hand eating a lot of fat alongside carbohydrates will make you fat. Like eat ten hot fudge sundaes, or a bucket of french fries. Fat is very easily stored and typically very high in foods that people consider high carb. Dumbass.
