I unironically enjoy tosh.0, but his stand up (including his newer stand up) is much better.
His timing kind of sucks and his accent just fucks with the whole setup, imo.

I watched it on Hulu the day after for the first two or three weeks but have completely stopped bothering. I didn't think he was awful but I think he tries too hard to just be Jon Stewart.
Part of that is probably the writers, keeping the exact same style, format, even intended delivery. The Daily Show has been slipping for years into less skits or funny mid-show interviews with local politicians and more into LOOK HOW OUTRAGED WE ARE AT THIS, basically just preaching.
They really put it into overdrive now and when Trevor Noah tries to be serious or speak like his opinion has any clout it is miserable.
I don't really blame the guy, but even before the daily show he wasn't really funny.
