Friendly reminder that we're a made of atoms and when we die it's eternal darkness and we will never return. Just like before you were born.
So there is no point to care about what his gonna happen or care about politics, we're all gonna die and never return.
Don't stress it.
>>56735958
That's the heaven anon.
No pain, no suffering, just darkness.
You're in the wrong place. Try /b
>>56735958
If you're just atoms and random combinations lead to the creation of you as a person and when you die those atoms scatter and go back to the state they were before hand that doesn't it stand to reason that a combination nearly identical to what created you could take place again and that you would in fact, return.
and real fuckin soon, too
>98% of the atoms in your body are replaced each year
Nothing really matters mate. All your past failures were literally made by another person.
>>56735958
Thank god, I would hate to spend all eternity in what essentially is a larger version of 4chan.
>>56736591
>if atoms are not original how can you bee yourself :^)?
>>56735958
Folks, this is why your parents pulled you aside as children and had the talk about Santa Claus. It's not appropriate to go around the playground "redpilling" all your classmates. Keep the romance alive.
In having this discussion with theists, you will commonly run into this question:
>If God doesn't exist, then why does anyone adhere to moral standards, why don't we all just run around raping, killing, and stealing because it's "survival of the fittest"?
Those people who desperately need to believe that an ethereal macrocosmic being is constantly breathing down their necks to prevent them from acting like niggers should be encouraged to believe it at all costs.
Do you have any proof
>>56737538
Science.
What do you have, the bible?

A pack of negros broke into my house, raped my pregnant wife and killed her
thanks for posting this, i guess i wont stress out over it
>>56735958
Of course the sweed embraces "eternal darkness"
>>56737596
all you've got is wishful thinking
there is no evidence what happens after you die
>>56736591
Every Planck second our identity is obliterated and created. There's no (you) just a stream of consciousness backed up by memories that creates the illusion of self
>>56738174
From science we can determine that when your brain shuts off you're out. Just like before you were born. Believing in an afterlife or what else just proves you're afriaid of death and not willing to accept it.
>>56738201
Damn Jaden, u is so deeps n smarts n shit.
If time and space are infinite math says one day in the future those atoms will come together again and make you whole again. Not mentioning parallel universes.
>>56738534
Boltzmann btains
>>56738358
It's a bit more than that though.
Often times, it's not the fear of one's own death that compels them to hold on to hope.
It's things like this:
>>56737953
It's the belief in ultimate justice that keeps them looking forward.
The "spiritual world" is the realm of memories.
That poster's memories of his wife will be positive. That poster's memories of those niggers will be irredeemably negative.
That's what "heaven" and "hell" really are.
>>56738358
Yeah, it's eternal peaceful darkness but your mind isn't there to comprehend what's going on.
>>56735958
I wants my 72 Virgins.
>>56738713
For 4chan being a bunch of teenagers that sure love trolling people, they sure do seem mad about not being "in" on the most epic rusecruise in existence.
>>56738534
Then how does it work? When you die your consciousness is transferred to the body where the alternate you are at?
How do you know what will happen after you die? The odds of nothing are at best 50/50 between an afterlife and no afterlife. At worst they are next to nothing considering the infinite possibilities.
Speak for yourself, i'm going to live forever
>>56738992
So if infinity truly exists everything exists? No matter how wild? Anime is real?
>>56735958
>muh nihilism
Fucking hell I hate people like you
>>56739139
Nothing is infinite possibilities, like a blank canvas.
>>56738992
Pascal's wager
>>56739196
Let it all out, poland, indoneisa whatever the fuck you are.
Ya probably don't even see it comin'.
>>56739196
In an alternate universe he's a christian.
Just like how in an alternate universe me and you are fuck buddies.
>>56739274
AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE IN WHICH I AM GOD.
>>56739274
Well its limitled if compared to a canvas your limited to painting on it
>>56736202
more like try somethingawful but i don't wish that upon anybody
>>56736335
Severely underrated post
>>56739301
Superficially, the wager is based on logic so it isn't just self-preservation but acting according to the truth.
>>56739139
>ywn live in a universe where you can hold hands with your waifu
there is no god
>being afraid of dying
>going to sleep every night
smdh tbqh zimzam
>>56739709
Well since everything exists, then yeah anon I think we could probably hold hands with our waifus.
We are God.
.
>>56735958
>Swede
I'm not surprised.
>>56735958
But what if http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2718 ?
>>56736861
I see what you did there.
>>56740837
>you are jaden smith in a different universe
How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't?
>>56735958
This mentality is exactly why your country is being outbred by kebab.
>>56738975
No idea of course. All i think is sometime down the line you will be born again or have your same ego again in some form. You wont remember shit because youre born again into existence.
>>56736335
There's such a jaw-droppingly large amount of combinations in genetics that having a copy of you would be virtually impossible, especially after you take into account that history results in each person being unique. Of course that doesn't mean that most humans aren't going to make the same stupid mistakes anyways, we're a predictable lot.
>>56738992
Theres no afterlife. Theres only eternity. Everything you experience is coded, to the atom, and imprinted for all time on the fabric of the universe. We're not even really alive to begin with. You as an individual are just a tiny part of a quantum stream of energy that never begins and never ends. When you die you as an entity just rejoins the stream along with everything else as part of one constant and single moment of everything.
What you experience is a very narrow taste of what existence really is. We're just receivers capable of understanding the universe from within.
Death is more like a true birth or return home than anything else. You won't exist as yourself, your ego, but your experience has and always will be there.
Theres no way to express the totality of it from our limited viewpoint but actually being alive as a being is like trying to watch a movie without eyes or ears... It's a slice of reality. Enjoy it. Or don't. It doesn't matter
>>56742972
That's some deep shit, man.
>>56742972
Nah imo desu senpai, the universe is infinite and in that infinity absolutely anything can happen.
I believe that once you die your consciousness is transferred from one you to the next one in any scenario, be it vidya, anime, a book, a tv show, anything is possible in infinity.
>The Liberal Agenda
Fuck off kek, the Lord will accept my soul into his kingdom and you will be banished to Hell.
>>56743889
Yeah but in another universe you are the Lord.
Hello my God friend.
>>56743441
I have a lot of time to think about this shit on the his ride to work. Probably should get myself and iPad or some shit before I unravel my brain and end up wanking and shifting in the street spouting Nietzsche.
>>56744235
I like the way you think. Distant twin.
>>56743832
That's a part of it maybe. It's an indulgence to think that could happen but at the same time, why not?
I like to think that when you become one with the stream you can choose your own reality and experience anything but then maybe you already did and chose to experience the universe through our eyes.
Kinda like the universe is sentient and self aware and we are the senses it uses to experience its reality in these select dimensions.
>>56742972
QQQQUUAAAANTUUUMMMMMMMM WOOOOOOOO
NICE SCIENCE BRO
First dead, then alive, then dead again. Nature has a tendency to complete things in circles.
"Death is not failure. Death as the highest ideal"
op you just gave me an existential panic attack, thx
>>56744416
Well I'd like to go back and tell my cosmic self that choosing to be a human was a stupid choice.
>>56742972
what the fuck, are you some sort of emo. Ill put it this way. There could be an afterlife there might not be. Who gives a fuck anyway?we wont find out whilst we are alive,so why waste time on it. If there is a heaven, great if there isnt,we will never know. so why give a fuck?
>>56735958
Implying it isnt a finite universe in which eventually we will get sucked up by a black hole and put into one place again just like now.
>>56735958
its actually kind of beautiful. makes me want to live life to the fullest.
Friendly reminder that every atom, every molecule that makes up your being was at one point a fucking Star. You are literally made of the Sun. Stop bitching and praise it faggot.
If nothing really matters, the fact that nothing matters also doesn't matter. Also go prep the bull, Sven
>Implying the ego isn't the only thing holding us back from oneness with God and when it dissipates we aren't returned to our true form
>>56745457
if there's a heaven then there's a hell
so you gamble on burning in hell/going to heaven vs nothing
>>56735958
>Friendly reminder that we're a made of atoms and when we die it's eternal darkness and we will never return. Just like before you were born.
>Just like before you were born
Except that isn't true, because when we were born, we were alive.
Nice try
>>56745841
And then those atoms will come together to form you in a different body, quite beautiful, isn't it?
YOU IN ANIME
Remember me once you guys get reincarnated, I'll remember you.
>>56736154
That's the fucked up thing.
It isn't even darkness.
Zero sensation and nothing to even realize that there is zero sensation
