The "moderate" rebels share the same values as ISIS. They're radical islamists. Also, and most importantly, ISIS sells its oil through rebel-controlled areas, so it's important to keep that area under control.
Replace Assad with those "moderate" rebels if you want to watch the world burn even more. Stabilize Syria and keep Assad or at least someone similar if you want peace.

Of 60 russian govt videos analyzed only 1 of them was on an ISIS area.
