I never understood this argument. IS's immediate stated goal is to establish an Islamic caliphate in the middle east. After that they likely seek to follow the goal of Islam and spread Islam across the globe, meaning Europe and more is a target.
An increasingly hostile Europe doesn't achieve this. Islamic population here already radicalized itself or willingly takes in preachers who preach death to us. And we all know our governments support or allow IS to spread.
