Why did the Soviet Union fail?
>>56719127
Because it turned away from God's teachings and went full fedora
>Stalinism
>Socialism
>Communism
I hope you don't think any of those ideologies are viable when you're actually running a country, Anon. It's the current year, come on!
>>56719127
Did not study enough
Jews
>>56719127
Liberalism, decentralization, corruption, and too much military spending.
>>56719127
Bureaucrats cannot accurately distribute or price goods.
The communist dream basically died in the 70s. People were tired and unhappy.
Stalin. Lenin was doing great, and appointed a leader much like him to succeed him. He never wanted Stalin to become the leader of the Communist Party. But after Lenin died, he killed the appointed leader and took it for himself, usurping the Communist Party, and making himself a dictator. No one who came after him could save the USSR. Just postpone it's fall.
>>56719979
What did Lenin do right? As opposed to Stalin.
The main reason is because after Stalin USSR was ruled by traitos and completely incompetent people.Khruschev and Breznev-the main retards responsible for the fall of the USSR(de-stalinization and the economic stagnation happened under their rule)
>>56720435
be lucky enough to not have a bunch of essentially cult-armies conspiring coup after coup against him
America was able to outspend them and the inefficiencies introduced by communism only deepened their spending woes. SDI (Star Wars) may have been a technical failure but it pushed the USSR into a final spending spree which it could not survive right when Gorbachev was at his weakest and people like Yeltsin were emerging from the woodwork, ironically, emboldened by Glasnost.
hohols came to power

haha.
fuckin' commies.
Turns out, while Marxist revolution is most feasible in nations whose economies are backward and wracked by strife and thus the ruling class weak, actual realization of communism there is damn near impossible. The Soviets understood this well and when revolutions failed or didn't materialize in the advanced capitalist nations it was all downhill. USSR only survived by using authoritarian power to accelerate modernization, but the consequence of this was the entrenchment of a ruling class which obstructed the effectiveness of economic planning, fostered discontent within its imperialist dominions, and inevitably devolved itself back into a capitalist class.
Because they treated all us non Russians like shit
>>56719127
cause it did the same mistake the last tsar did. ignoring and killing your people. even though u got like 239193 billion people fighting for you, you should be able to feed them, otherwise your nation will collaps once or twice
>>56719576
Can this be fixed with today's technology? Avoid the bureaucrats and instead have a stock market program (system) that registers the demand and based on it control production.
Read the animal farm. It kinda puts everything in a simple picture
>>56721764
The USSR was ruled by non-Russians (Jews) and Russians were heavily oppressed.
>>56721955
Who programs the program? Who prevents that person/those people from being pressured by the leadership?
>>56721764
Yeah and probably your new master - the US treats you like a delicate flower and doesn't tell you which way to bark. This wasn't nice, especially for you, but I don't think this was the reason.
>>56719127
Because the only thing they have to offer is beet soup and grandma porn.
>>56722183
What if it is open source model so its code can be constantly reviewed and any changes made to it monitored by thousands of experts. Like the Linux kernel.
Because socialism and communism are a mental disease

>Oh wait its an Aussie flag
>thats why you are this dumb
>>56720435
Nothing, Lenin was just as bad. The whole Lenin-was-good is another commie deceit
>>56722437
You'd have to trust that the system running the country uses the same code as what's published and you'd have to hope to hell some wealthy fucker doesn't put out a bounty for exploitable bugs or simply uses their position to work out how to influence the market for greater profit.
Because it's Russians. These people couldn't organize stable government if their lives dependent on it, exhibit A: Intro to Russian history. USSR fell because it was stagnant. It's always stagnant, Russia. They westernise every now and then a la Peter the Great, and then remain stagnant until collapse. Russia will stagnate the coming 50 years and we'll be talking about the Russian Republics annexation of Northern Chechnya when 2070 swings around and gas prices are high.
>>56722250
At least we dont have to worry about disappearing in the middle of the night now
America and the west isnt perfect but what we have now, its better than the soviet union
>>56722808
>Netherland in charge of knowing how to run the biggest country in the world
wew lad you're smaller than the baltics

It's not about size, it's how you use it.
What would you rather be born as, Russian or Dutch?
>>56723600
You're comparing a maritime colonial power to a gigantic land empire. Can you even comprehend the logistics involved in supplying most of the country when all you got is rivers and a single railroad, or dealing with the million different ethnic groups striving for independence?
>>56719127
Because no-one wants to learn shitty agglutinative languages like Russian, and are likely to become resentful if they're forced to
>>56722771
You don't have to blindly trust it. One way to control it is to take the code and run it for yourself in a simulation and see if you get the expected results.
>>56719211
This. It was doomed from the beginning.
>>56723889
You're joking, right? You bitching about logistics, supply costs, and ethnic groups driving for independence, while comparing land empires to maritime colonial powers, is rustling my jimmies.
>>56723992
You'd require all the data entering the system and you'd need to trust the source of that data. It's an admirable attempt but the extremely wealthy would still find it profitable to subvert such a system.
>>56724122
Running a navy is infinitely simpler and profitable than travelling through a muddy tundra longer than any ocean. Genociding some shitskins overseas is much simpler than assimilating and living with different peoples in the same country.
>>56720435
New Economic Policy, which was basically captialism-lite.
