Cambridge is attracting a lot of new big data companies with decent salaries and there is a lot of development in the area. If you get in early with these companies then often equity is a part of your compensation package. Even MA, despite how much I've ripped on it in this thread, lol. Some of the smaller, more rural towns in MA still have some beautiful architecture.
