I just found out that Maine Drilling & Blasting in Gardiner is missing 120 detonators and there is an ongoing federal investigation.
Total media blackout.
I just called the company and told them I was a reporter following up on the story, she did not deny it whatsoever and transferred me to voice mail of a PR lady. Left message but don't expect call back.
I think this is an important incident and wondering what you guys think and if I should report it to the papers or my local rep?

Honestly, the missing detonators could be an clerical error or they got stored someplace they should'nt have and misplaced them.
