I don't remember my first visit to /pol/ but I now it wasn't a year ago. I believe it was shortly before the Baltimore Riots, so that's at least 7 months.
I wouldn't know what it's like to not have flags, but I do feel bad for India; they can't post without their point being completely bypassed and told "poo in loo." We've alienated an entire country and if I were Indian, I probably would have stopped coming here by now simply because I can't even have a conversation.
That being said, I like the banter flags provide. Maybe a continental flag system would be more inclusive; I mean shit, the differences between one state to the next is drastic enough to argue for US state flags, but for obvious reasons I don't think it would be a good idea. If we have to have flags at all, an EU, Asia, Africa, etc flag system might be a good alternative
