Can someone tell me what is really happening right now?

I feel like this is a showeplay I'm being fed. Its hard for me to believe that Turkey would be this stupid and really shut down Russian jets and let the pilots be shot by their enemies in mid air.

Is this right now the NWO plan playing out.

People shouting "muh happening" "muh WWIII" seem to forget planes got shot down several times during the cold war and nothing happened. Nothing will come of it unless Putin wants to drain the economy even more.

But also, how the hell did Turkey manage to intercept the aircraft when it just barely made it into Turkish airspace?

Daily reminder that Putin will do nothing.
It's not happening. It never was.

Putin will not do a thing about Turkey. You faggots will have to find another he-man .
>>
Erdogan had good reason to shoot it down.
Putin was labouring hard to get a join coalition formed with the West in Syria. The French particularly were open to that.
Now this would imply that Assad politically gains new ground as he is with Putin.
All that is not in Erdogans interest as he needs a chaotic and fractured Syria in order to persue his own goals. Shooting down that jet instantly put Russia and NATO at odds.
What's more, Putin was bombing a Turkmen minority group in Syria acting on behalf of Turkey/being supplied by it. So he was working against their interest.

Turkey is playing it's own game in Syria. Funding ISIS via oil trade, using the chaos as a cover to bomb Kurds, etc. Yesterday Erdogan dictates the field for a day. There's next to no down sides for him shooting down that plane. Putin can't do shit.

>There's next to no down sides for him shooting down that plane. Putin can't do shit.
he already put a military ships into Mediterranean sea and threatend he will shoot down threats.

-he said there would be sanctions to turkey.
-he could provide kurds wiht military equipment.
-he will bomb turkmen harder
- most of the west is now on his side, since the Turks were the aggressors
- he will stop selling gas to them
- west will boycot turkey products.

tbqh, I dont see any benefits for turkey. ISIS wont be able to sell them OIL anymore, thats for sure.

There you go TL;DR
>>
>>56680524
While Obama floods America with shitskins and promote feminism he wants to send all of Americas remaining alpha white men to die in Russia.

When the military is in Russia he will ban guns in the US since there will be nobody to stop him.
>>
>>56682000
>sanctions
Like stopping Russians from having vacation in Turkey? Banning meat imports? Small financial effects. Other nationalities will visit Turkey more often due to resulting price drops
>Kurds
Already heavily supplied by the West
>bomb Turkmen
Yep that's true
>West on Putins side/will boycott Turkey
Seriously? Not gonna happen
>stop selling gas
Neither gonna happen

The truth is that you have three countries primarily fighting proxy wars: russia, turkey, and the united states. All three countries are using ISIS as an excuse to shift the political balances in the region while really propping the local factions they wish to support and bombing those they oppose.

This is also complicated by the public being increasingly concerned about ISIS, which gives the west and russia reason to cooperate superficially, while turkey quietly supports ISIS and purchases their oil, and at the same time nato (including turkey) and russia take standoff-ish positions to one another owing to treaties and such.

So you have multiple layers of alliances where countries are simultaneously allied, working against one another, or aiding the enemies of their allies. It's a huge mess. Recent events by turkey are really meant to throw more wrenches into everything, who has no interest in either major power gaining any advantage in the region.
>>
>>56682952
yeah, but it was obviously a provocation by Putin. He did it on purpose and is probably happy the Turks baited.

Why would he do this if he didnt have some other agenda.

>>56683647
based post. What do you think, was this a provocation by the Russians and are they happy now that Turks swallowed the bait.

Also, whats next?
>>
>>56683775

I can only guess, but I wouldn't say Turkey was baited. They could have easily scrambled to intercept, or ignored the intrusion, so I can only say that their actions were equally calculated. Russia could have avoided the intrusion but opted not to, and they have a history of being antagonistic to see how strongly other nations respond.

I don't think anything major will come of it. Assuming the jet did cross the border, turkey technically had the right to do it, it was just a rude response. Relations will cool and there will be some chest thumping, but both sides understand what happened and why. It was just a calculated political move on both sides to establish where the boundaries are. Of course politicians can't come right out and say that, so there'll be media attention on the event for a while.
>>
>>56680524
There are always happenings happening in history, we're just lucky enough to see a happening before we get too old to enjoy it. Depending on Russia's response they could very well cascade into a third world war. Keep your fingers crossed!
>>
>>56680524
Putin bombed ISIS' oilfields that were supplying Turkey with cheap oil

Mehmets being the retards that they are thought they could retaliate
>>
>>56684405
I cannot agree with you. You are denying me my happening.

>>56684492
>Keep your fingers crossed!
I do

>>56684649
but how will this help them. Putin will now bomb ISIS infrastructure even more.
>>
>>56684405
The agenda is clear.
Putin wants to secure more access to the Mediterranean, Syria is too precarious.
By seizing land in in East Turkey he could have another Kalinigrad potentially.

Turkey is PISSED at Russia because Russia is the only country that is seriously fighting ISIS. Turkey is making a lot of money with the oil that ISIS ships in to sell on the black market as the middle-man.

Everyone else is secretly supporting them because their whole purpose is to destabilize Iraq and Syria to Israel, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia's benefit. There's a reason why ISIS hasn't been completely destroyed even when the whole world is supposedly against them.
>>
>>56684885

Nothing will come of it. Syria is simply not important enough to start a war of any consequence. The jet was a minor asset that was risked and lost. The world is not sitting on the edge of a razor as /pol/ would like you to think. Relations between major powers are relatively stable.

Think selfishly. War in the modern age between modern powers would be insanely expensive, in life and assets, to the point where there are nearly no circumstances are worth it. The people with the power to make these decisions stand nothing to gain and everything to lose.

>>56685141

Seizing any territory in Turkey is a non-option. If nothing else, Turkey is assertive about its territory and would quickly bring the full weight of NATO into any sort of conflict. Russia isn't stupid enough to provoke an unwinnable scenario. They got by in Ukraine because that region was unstable and unallied.
>>
Some facts that have come to light that people may not yet be aware of (plus some history):
The Russian jet DID enter Turkish airspace.
The Russian jet did not adhere to 10 warnings.
The Russian air force has done these violations multiple times and their ambassador was warned before by Turkey specifically about violations in the past where nothing happened.
When Russian jets/bombers get close to US airspace, they change direction 10+ miles earlier.
When Russian planes get close to European NATO airspace, they change direction 10+ miles earlier.
Russian jets have never before violated NATO airspace. When the news talks about "Russian planes coming towards airspace." They DO NOT mean "crossed into" airspace. That is when "fighter escort peacefully" happens. Russian jets ALWAYS get shot down from NATO airspace, it had simply not happened before except to Turkey.
Sovereignty and airspace is serious business. You do not let foreign war planes into your airspace, ever. No exceptions.

It's not stupid if you understand Turkish history. They've been very boisterous, especially with Russia, for ages.

Also the Russians getting BTFO'd when they violate other peoples airspaces is hardly a new thing. Pic related. They also had a lot of aerial battles with Pakistan and Iran in the 80's.

How's the ruskie economy doing and how independent are they? How jew free is russia? I feel like I'm grasping at world leaders hoping for Putin to be the last chance of humanity before we drown.
