You want to find a true aggregator that will show you all available stories and let you filter out the ones you want to see or don't see. Obviously google and yahoo are popular, but there are other ways, like an RSS feed or sites lie popurls.com
The important thing is to avoid false aggregators like huffpost or drudge or infowars who pick what stories you see or don't see, or even worse specific clickbait outlets that also host rewritten wireservice stories like gawker or slate (on the left) or breitbart or reason (on the right).
Then there are sensationalized tabloids to look out for like The Daily Mail or The NY Post. These are okay as long as you are seeing them against the context of other headlines and reporting on the same subject in aggregator form.

Uh so.. What do you use?

I use google news but I also have an RSS feed set up for certain key words that shows up on a my.yahoo.com page I made. >>>/g/ can help you set one up that can deliver it to your phone in a text even if you want.
I like Drudge because it's a portal. Makes me think I'm in 2001, plus they're funny. I get an array of conservative articles which I can then compare with more mainstream publications to reach a solid conclusion.
I like Breitbart because they pander to me, but I usually don't take everything they as fact.
Don't look at one.
Look at many.
Don't look at the information, look at the narrative.
There are many dimensions to every story.

Journal de Montréal.
A lot of people slam it for being cheap tabloid, but I've never seen it adhere to a single opinion or narrative. Even on the same day, I can read two different articles pushing two different sides or interpretation of a story in it.
I've even seen them slam their owner.
While all of the "high brow, respectable" papers here are all 100% leftist shilling.

>sifting through news sites for interesting articles that may or may not be biased
>not letting people on /pol/ find the big/interesting stories for you with links
It also takes out the hassle of translating news in other languages, since anons usually provide a English summary.

It's about as good as printed news gets.
I'm not denying it has biases, and I take their political articles with a grain of salt, but the breadth of world news coverage is pretty much unmatched.

Globalsecurity and Reuters

You find quality journalism in places you least expect it, and find absolutely horrid shill journalism in places you wouldn't expect to.
Tabloids are your best bet.
Take The Daily Mail. Their celebrity section is cringe worthy. Their science writing is probably compiled by monkeys on a typewriter. But they will run shit that hardly anyone else will. They cover US stories that Jew York Times would never touch.
I'm a big fan of the Daily Mail.
Drudge is also good.
Zero Hedge is good but just realize all their stories are probably 20% bullshit - they're still probably mostly true, but there's some needless drama going on there.
if you ignore the shitposting, /pol/ is the most unbiased news source.
it's unfortunate that 90% of posts are in fact shitposting
