Yugoslavia broke up because Serbs are literal shitheads. As long as there was a Croatian in charge everything was great. As soon as Serbs went full retard they got put on their place. Tito genuinely made a first world country from a slav shit-hole. You only have to compare peak Jugo to the surrounding countries like Bulgaria, Albania, Greece and even Italy.
Jugoslavia had legitimate world class education, technological research, cutting edge medical practices all while holding true to the basic tenets of socialism (free housing, health and education).
America had every motive for destroying them because they shat on all their ideologue. I have no reason not to believe that they had a part to play in supporting/propping Milošević.
Nevertheless, I'm finding it hard to find concrete evidence that such a thing happened.
