Why do people worship veterans so much in America? I don't get it.
I view them as scumbags and losers. Who signs away all their constitutional and civil rights for a job? If you're in the military you can't refuse a search, you have no right to freedom of speech and association, etc. You would have to be a real dipshit to agree to those terms.
Why would you blame the soldiers? They're just providing a service, it's not their fault that a few elite corporations owned by the global elite have basically taken over the US military.

I think they're a respectable profession, but I also don't think America's infatuation with worshiping the military is healthy, nor do I think they deserve any particularly special treatment in day-to-day life - it's a job they chose, with attractive pay and benefits they'll enjoy for their entire lives.
My apex example of armyshit was this one faggot in Warframe who decided to join a farming group I was in, then just idle and leech. I called him out on it, and his response was basically "I'm military you little shit, I deserve this, shut the fuck up."

What about officers? Officer roles normally need some decent qualifications and have some pretty intense training. At least that's how it is in the UK. Minimum qualifications are 180 ucas points at A level, which most of the dropouts don't do (although most average people should be able to obtain)
