The patriotic anglo-history faggot in me wants to keep them to maintain a presence on the highest level of weaponry available to the other nations. After all the British army should access to the best weaponry as it's supposed to be one of the more influential armies...
But then the realism kicks in. And I can't fight the truth. The size of the UK's arsenal is kind of insignificant. We just don't have the bloated over sized military super structural civilisation to support them and maintain them. If ww3 kicked off tomorrow, and everyone launched everything, I'm pretty sure our contribution would be like the squirts of gasping farting tomato sauce , that squelched out the end of the bottle.
We're not much of a deterrent with them and were not much of an effective destructive factor with them either. Personally I think they should be phased out. And more focus put into special forces and drone warfare.
