ISIS and FSA are two sides of the same coin, their fighters swap sides often. Most ISIS fighters are former FSA fighters from earlier in the war.
>>
>>56623851
As you can see from AA gunning people in parachutes, there is no difference between FSA and ISIS.

There never has been.

There are islamic armies and the secular Syrian Arab Army, and those who support them, like Russia.

There are no moderate rebels.

AA gunning people in parachutes is a war crime of greater magnitude than a 1.7 mile airspace incursion any day of the week.

Contrary to what you will read on CNN, the FSA is/was/became ISIS, they're all the same sand niggers with the same goal, to control Syria in a tribe-like fashion, and to do that, Al Assad has to go.
All this does is confirm the legitimacy and intent of Al Assad's fight for his country and his people.
So fuck the FSA, fuck ISIS, fuck al Nusra, FUCK the White House nigger faggot fucking Obongo for directly supporting, funding and training terrorists.

Yeah, totally justified. That would be like the French shooting down British aircraft in WWII because they flew over a tiny corner of France.

Fighting for control over the country. They're both radical Muslim groups and they both want control, neither are "moderate" and at the moment they both want Assad gone. Helping either of them is helping radical Islamists gain a massive foothold in the Middle East.

>>
>>56623851
FSA hasn't been a significant, let alone existent player in the civil war since 2013. Western media, constantly implies that there are still friendlies on the ground in Syria, a supportable resistance. This isn't true. 90% of those fighting Assad are part of Salafist Islamist factions like ISIS, fighting for no other reason than Jihad.

NATO guidebook says that if an aicraft is either
1) flying trough a very small chunk of territorry
2) en route to exist the airspace
3) not having the pilot on visual
then it's not right to shoot down the aircraft.
NATO in its treaty assumes that in this case the nation that shoot down the aircraft invading the country's airspace is making an act of war so if another country declares war on it then article 5 can't be invoked.

in short, turkey disrespected a lot of nato proceedures and if putin declares war on turkey then turkey can't invoke article 5.

Assad is also radical and not 'moderate' as well. Simply apply labels isn't an argument for getting rid of something. Saudi Arabia is clearly radical and not 'moderate' but at least it is contained. Problem with ISIS over other Islamist regimes is they reject the idea of borders and consider themselves to be a global caliphate and will not stop until it takes the world. Attacking any radical Muslims that oppose them that are happy to be monster in their own region, just like Assad, is better then doing anything that helps something like ISIS.
>>
>>56625664

In what was is Assad "radical"? He runs a secular government, doesn't enforce sharia, there was a sizable Christian population in Syria that lived relatively well, the only remotely "radical" thing about him is that he is fighting to hold on to power in his own country, which I seriously don't blame him for.

Is it because he is a dictator? Is that his only crime? Being a dictator in a sea of dictators?
>>
>>56626449
>? He runs a secular government,

Love this meme. He has routinely given his own sect, the Alawites, special treatment and discriminated against sunnis.
>>
>>56625158
The western media usually just refer to the Kurds but it isn't surprising that the FSA would be struggling since it is has been attacked from two fronts and this has just helped ISIS more than anyone.

shooting down a military aircraft that is in your airspace illegally is not a war crime.

Considering how often in the last 2 years the Russians have used their jets and bombers to fly way too fucking close to the sovereign airspace of other nations, i say it's about fucking time.
>>
>>56627192
shooting at pilots parachuting from the plane however is.
>>
>>56623037
>war crime
>>
>>56626449

it was an f-16 (based jet btw) of the turkish air force.
so basically he engaged in retalliation to the russian jet crossing airspace for 5 seconds.
what should have been solved in turkey sanctioning russia which would be the right thing to to they go full retard on this one.
I don't know what erdogan is thinking. The membership in NATO doesn't give him a get out of jail free card.
>>
>>56627435
But it wasn't the Turks that did that it was the FSA
>>
Shooting down a plane following violation of airspace isn't a war-crime.
>>
>>56628384
No, but shooting the pilots after they ejected from the plane is.

what really makes me feel ill is that there are no good actors.

- the US is invested in destabilizing the region in order to remove Assad... in order to install a puppet regime so that they can block Iranian pipeline projects thru syria and can greenlight qatari pipeline projects... all in an attempt to keep the eurozone (especially germany) from establishing closer economic ties with russia.
- Assad fucked up with the 'modernization' of syria... tried to push liberal and capitalist reforms too hard and caused too much internal strife (especially when trying to repress anti-government protesters and political enemies). His heavy push for westernization of syria (and likely CIA destabilization ops) caused the civil war... and the opposition won't quit until they're all dead or bashar steps down.
- Turkey (while on its way towards a theocratic state as part of the IS caliphate) is trying to take advantage of the situation by keeping ISIS operating in kurdish areas. (Does turkey claim any syrian border areas? What, other than killing kurds and following US instruction, does Turkey get from this?)
- Arab countries are happy to sit back and keep funding whoever needs it.
- Iran appears to be the most out-of-the-loop here... even tho it funds hezbollah (and likely more groups)... and even tho this war is all about them and russia.
- France, germany, and the rest of the kekzone countries are, at this point, flailing about... not understanding that the US is their worst enemy.
- Russia... gangster state fighting for survival. They MUST prevent qatari oil and natural gas from pipelining into EU. If they lose here they are lost as a power.
- China. Will china be the one to provide moral leadership?! Is this china's chance to become the leading superpower?

nukes when?
