How can trump win the nomination? You need 50% majority to get it. Trump has a loyal base which has kept him at the top of the polls thus far, but as candidates drop out how will he obtain their voters? A huge chunk of republican voters say they would never vote for him. I don't see him crawling out of 40% or so.

There aren't nearly as many Republican superdelegates as there are Democrat superdelegates.
The challenge for Trump is going to be getting enough delegates in the first round of voting while they're still bound to reflect the will of the voters. Some delegates become unbound after the first inconclusive vote, and all of them become unbound after the third.
Trump needs a clean sweep of bound delegates in the first vote, which is why it's important that you all register Republican and vote in the primary or caucus IN EVERY SINGLE STATE!

Actually Trumps favorable ratings among the party are improving. Trump is the 2nd choice among many Carson/Cruz voters, so should either of them collapse (as Carson is doing) Trump stands to benefit.
