Kurdistan is a goal, because self determination and the UN hasn't learned about balkanisation yet, but otherwise the rest of that map is so retarded. A even have a horrible feeling this IS thing was a cover to create it. You give the Kurds an enemy they can defeat, or rather that could be weakened easily (lots of mercs, lots of blackmarket oil, remove oil, no more mercs) and then the Kurds throw a parade, everyone cheers as the Kurds take all IS occupied territories and only Syria loses land anyone cares about.
