I guess Obama didn't look around Chicago when he lived there. In the late 1960's through the late 1970's HUD built thousdands of new homes in neighborhoods all over the city and suburbs then put poor families into those homes for free. Of course, the people placed in these homes didn't know how to take care of the new home, much less the yard, or themselves. With the growth of welfare, suddenly the new homeowners were just sitting on the front porch all day instead of working and yards just became places to park cars and trucks. Even then, the kids didn't have any interest in school and were better at disrupting classes than learning in them. Eventually these homes got to be so run down that the government came in and moved the inhabitants (not families any more, just groups of adults and kids living in the free house) to another location leaving the 15 - 20 year old structures abandoned, destroying block after block in once thriving middle class neighborhoods. So now the government wants to come in and social engineer more neighborhoods and towns and will lead to the same result it did 50 years ago. Look at what Detroit became after the progressive control and HUD assistance in destroying entire neighborhoods which today now sit as vacant land cleared of all structures and people that once were there.

He'll never attain more than 40% of the GOP and is ostracizing more and more minorities, women, vets and working poor every day. Plus, Wall Street hates him. All he's doing is riling up the peasants who watch his shitty tv show and turning them into donors for his next generation super PAC. But I expect nothing less from /pol/ than to feed into it hook line and sinker. After all, this is the same board who fed George Zimmerman and Darrell Wilson's legal funds when those men didn't need legal help either. (Fun fact, neither men used the donations to pay their lawyers)
