Trump will take the Republican candidate down with him if they fuck him out of it or attack him.
He has the Republican Party by the throat and can peel enough support off whoever they nominate to guarantee a Hillary victory in a general. Trump is winning otherwise if they actually could knock him out of the race they already would have done so.
