Some one had mentioned today on here or /x/ that the Persian Gulf had been purposefully flooded to hide something sinister. Only info I've been able to gather is of an ancient civilization perhaps beneath the waters.

Any more info would be welcomed on this one in particular, others are welcomed.

There's a good chance some archeological sites were buried or submerged with the shifting of rivers and sea levels.

No.

A lot of human history lies underwater now, but I really don't think it was purposeful. Who did it? How? Why?

It's just a result of changing climatic conditions.

You're fucking stupid. Sea levels rose because the ice melted at the end of the last ice age, thus flooding the land that became the Persian Gulf.

This is actually true my leafy friends, big rivers specially tend quite often to change course.

An excellent example is the yellow river in China, here, have a paper (RARE)
http://www.irtces.org/pdf-hekou/027.pdf

A river course change would mean the end of an empire so thats why they changed their capital so frequently.

Mesopotamia is another matter altogether, there they had an excelent river delta with exquisite fertile soil but with a mix of bad agriculture technique and wrong usage of dams, they now have the horrible landscape they have.

Its a very real possibility eurasian (hell even african) humankind had a cultural level close to roman empire/medieval tech around 3000 - 1500 b.c but they got kuked into oblivion by a global climate change and different human races migrations (check Marija Gimbutas Kurgan hypothesis).

Maybe they want to hide that truth that the climate is finally going to kuk us all in the next years

>>
>>56551193

I don't think it's impossible we've had previous cultural/technological ascensions/regressions, but I think your timing is a little off.

Kurgan hypothesis is true, as far as genetics can tell us, but it's also pretty well attached to the spread of technology with it.

If we want to look at the possibility of previous civilizations having relatively advanced technology in a widespread sense, we need to look further back. Perhaps before the Ice Age, there was an essentially Renaissance-level of development...

Well.... I don't know if it was flooded to find something sinister but this is where the biblical Eden is usually placed and is where the Eden-like Dilmun of Sumerian accounts supposedly was.

Many ancient historians mention earthquakes and uplifting of land in this region which caused the proto-Phoenicians to migrate. It's supposedly where a mythological island called Panchea was as well which had Cretan colonists on it (probably also proto-Phoenicians)

maybe, but that would require an extraordinary ammount of censorship and hiding stuff from this "ice age civilization", its probable that rising sea levels helped a lot though. Hesiod, c 700 BC wrote about the lost ages of man, with nostalgia on his plume

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_Man

Basically "renaissance" cultures (only in the sense of technological and cultural achievements/level EU4 style) mean widespread trade and population of big cities

A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin[d] and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.[e] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

The human civilization started right along the river that is now Persian Gulf. Then at some point the flood, mentioned both in the Torah and the Sumerian texts happened. Ok, so i got a theory.

Millions of years ago, ancient alien civilization decided to send colony ships to our solar system.

Both missions were successfull and both Mars and Earth was colonized at the beginning. Both Mars and earth were quite Icy planets.

Then something happened to the sun and it started emitting more heat and radiation that was meant to.

First the mars colonys main city called Atlantis, was wiped out, because of the flood, but they managed to send ship towards earth with full of animals and genetic materials.

Ship was called Noah's Ark.

Because ship crash landed, all the tech was lost, but humanity survived as we know it. Only problem was that the earth colony was also destroyed (earlier) and only thing was left of them was apelike neanderthals.

So, Mars people ahd to fight the neanderthals and eventually we wiped them out, altho we were both from the original human species.

This whole happenings took time tens of thousands of years and you know how fast civilization can fall and we go back to stone age.

TL:DR
We are refugees from Mars, that got blasted away.

Jesee hughes is going to rise to fame, he was chosen for this ceremony for a reason.

Hughes revealed that his band mate Josh Homme gave him "The Devil" nickname when he was thirteen. Joshua once witnessed me in the moment I was about to enact vengeance upon someone, and he just said, 'You're the fucking devil dude,' and it stuck."

I think that can be attributed to people saying and spelling the thing wrong and it sounding better, which was then accepted as the proper way to say or spell it. Sex and The City for example has always been Sex and The City because I remember as a kid being confused why they'd name it that versus Sex in The City.

>then it swelled

There's definitely something under there, probably just normal ancient ruins though.

Froot Loops has always been Froot Loops. I used to read the cereal boxes when eating my cereal as a kid and I used to think it was so clever how they used the cereal to spell their name.

Because they've been led astray by controlled opposition. All this bullshit about Illuminati, flat/hollow/expanding earth, reptilians and Archons are just more Jewish lies to keep the more gullible goyim from looking at the obvious facts.

These are just memes. Basically they are famous lines that are said wrongly repeatedly in other media so people forget the original wording.

I even remember most of these as the "altered" versions anyway. I remember the Mr. Rogers one very clearly as "THIS neighborhood".

actually the earth used to be encapsulated in by a water sphere, which provided a uniform 'near the equator' climate for the entire earth, prevented harmful UV rays from shortening our lifespans (800 yr old+ np) and weather did not exist, then it all fell down and we live in this shitty AOL 2.0 earth

Lake Agassiz was larger than all of the modern Great Lakes combined and drained into the Hudson Bay 8,200 years ago causing ocean levels to rise by up to 9 ft.
