Also, if your suicidal, you typically wouldn't have the motivation to go out travelling doing activities like 'tracking down terrorists' or 'being James Bond'. Depression revolves in a lack of interest in the world around you.

When some people are just fucked their whole life, in their mid twenties, never been kissed, never lost virginity, never really developed social skills, never got to really know joy in life, they don't want to keep living.
Many people say, well just go out and get a hooker, or getting laid isn't hard, etc etc but it isn't just that. You missed out on all the experiences of youth and developing normally socially. Never got to experience romance, never got to experience any 'scores' or wins to share with your friends, some never even had friends. For some it's a sad, lonely life

28 here, all of these apply. I'm depressed enough to not have the motivation to do anything, but still not depressed enough to be suicidal. I keep wondering when I'll cross that threshold.
Depends on how you do it. If you just blow your head off or take pills you're weak. If you go on a huge bender, hit every strip club you can, bang a lot of hookers, do every drug you can find, rob a liquor store, give all your possessions away to a stripper and die of alcohol poisoning and have your body thrown away in a dumpster, you are the fucking man. That's how I would do it.

Exactly. Not to mention social rejection. You're seen as 'broken', 'abnormal' if you haven't had sex/kissed etc etc which is true, but it still hurts a lot to know you're alone and undesired, and furthermore an outcast. And worse when you're thought of as a coward by most people, even /pol/, when the loneliness is too much and you give in.
