Here's a series of logical steps which lead to the final conclusion that God isnt worth worshipping. (not that it doesnt exist).
For a god to count as a god, it has to be all powerful. This step is obvious, if you admit that god isnt all powerful you open a floodgate of new paradoxes and questions regarding gods legitimacy of worship.
Now if god is all powerful, that must mean it is all knowing. This is because Knowledge is a form of executable power by any definition.
If god is all knowing and all powerful, that means it is either indifferent to the vast amounts of suffering and evil in the world, or it is immoral. For the former, god isnt worth worshipping if it doesnt care for us, and the latter is that god shouldnt be worshipped if it is evil.

A god of some sort HAS to exist, only when I started going into physics and being more open minded did I end up seeing again and again a super being has to be real, what that being is though is under debate.
God could be;
1. The culmination of all known interacting forces that create the stability of existence
2. An outside force creating the universe living apart from the borders of creation since a creator would have to be independent of reality if it predated its inception
3. An entity split into many forms in an antagonistic relationship with a polar entity or force.
This could hypothetically be seen in the relationship of dark energy and all other known forces where the first rips creation as the latter forms it in a stable form trying to keep all energy in relation to the singularity it was in before the big bang.
4. The driving force of life and an entity emerging into the universe to directly interact with it in a process designed for an end game scenario, which could be preventing heat death of the universe since life seems to evolve in a linear fashion with the end goal fueling its progres be total control of all energy in the universe.
5. Higher dimensional being that might exist at the highest possible existent form of the universe and beyond.
Life seems to have a purpose that can be mapped and traced and seen (the invisible hand principles) as well as playing roles in a complex leveled system of existence and codependent as well as dominant to all earlier stages of creation. God may not be a form of being we'd think of as a existent form, but in all the options above a series of what seems to be producing acts self interests and plans of heavy trial and error. That said we have to accept the universe to be not the whole of what lies in and beyond known existence, we have to accept that outside of it beings may exist, and that they may interact of form processes that birth or effects other forms of existence.
