The big difference here is that Christians haven't been a militarized force for a long time. The Pope will never call on Catholics for a Crusade. When we look at every Christian dominant nation in the world they are a far cry from the human rights abuses that is invoked in the name of Islam across Africa and the Middle East. Don't be naive, you aren't smart, Islam is still very much dangerous. The Crusades lasted maybe 200 years, with battles very few to count, though there was brutality, and there was abuse.
The Muslim jihad has lasted around 1400, with large swaths of land subjugated, millions enslaved, and 18,000 killed just last year in its grips, likely more if we look at their own kin they stone to death over 'family honor.'
Islam extends far above and beyond any comparison to Christianity, this is my opinion from being areligious and generally skeptical of all fairytales and people who follow them.
