they have that preconceived notion that europe is basically heaven. countries so rich and advanced that anyone who makes it there wins it. a literal utopia with hot chicks and where everyone is happy and rich as fuck. this is partly influenced by the past immigrants that have made it in there and got a good paying job.
However they fail to comprehend that this was before the refugee crisis when not so much people were flooding in. So after they dangerously cross the sea and spend the next two weeks sleeping in forests and avoiding police. only to be taken to camps and tents and still can't find jobs
they get frustrated. it doesn't help that they paid like 5000 or something for this trip. I'm currently studying in college. It would be a suicide for my carrier to leave my education and go to europe to work at a bakery or a restaurant or some other minimal-wage shit job.
