It's been said that Trump is a Hillary plant and the way he recently seems to be trying to actively kill his own campaign is starting to make me wonder.
Was Trump's intention all along to Stump the second coming of Paul?
Now with Paul out of the way, any establishment GOP nominee will be an easy win for Hillary.

Jeb was gonna beat paul, only trump stole all of Jews supporters

>the way he recently seems to be trying to actively kill his own campaign

If he wanted to kill his campaign he would stop saying controversial things

Randlets are such sniveling little pussies.

He'll maintain a certain portion of the base but you're delusional if you think he won't alienate a wider portion of both the GOP and general electorate. I'm not saying this as someone who just wants to hate on trump. Either that or he's looking to gain the GOP nominee and lose the general election.

go to bed randlet, it's over

That's the point of my post. Learn to read, friend

What I want to know is, how is Rand Paul the conservative paragon he pretends to be when he is currently squandering millions of dollars on a campaign in an election that he simply cannot mathematically win? That's a fiscal conservative? A guy who says, "fuck it, it's free money, so I will spend all of it just to make a point"?

Trump is in it to win it.

Fucking memespouters です

Well fiscal conservatism is usual in regards to the government. Its consistent with his beliefs that a private citizen or organization spend as they want. Also, why are Trumpeters so eager for Rand to drop out if he isn't a serious threat? Seems my OP may have some merit.

He's not a fiscal conservative, he's a freedom fighter. He's willing to sacrifice his own economic freedom and political influence to try and win back our economic freedom. It won't work, but that's the plan.

Plus, nobody has to give money to Paul.
>>
Paul was never gonna win this election cycle, he should have saved his strength and dropped out when his numbers were at 1%.

Did you see him wasting time trying to get in a debate with bernie, too? The dude doesn't have good priorities. He showed up at the second democratic debate unannounced, and he even challenged bernie to a "capitalism vs socialism" debate.

He's acting autistic as fuck, honestly, but he needs to go.

What bothers you so much that you want him to drop out? If he doesn't stand a chance, what concerns you?

Back to the point at hand, Trump suspiciously has been saying some very divisive things lately. Something is odd. He can't win the general election if he alienates more than he appeals to. If he were a Hillary plant, is he trying to bolster Cruz or Rubio? Its not like Jeb was ever a serious threat
>>
>>56486297
What concerns me is that Rand will forever sabotage his chances of ever seriously running for president by burning bridges with the establishment GOP, which is what he's doing. He's a total outsider, and while it's good that he's getting out there, and he did well in the last debate, he will never hit 10% in this election.

>why are Trumpeters so eager for Rand to drop out if he isn't a serious threat
it pushes a wedge in /pol/ that doesn't exist
>>

He's more mainstream than his father. He may have stood some chance before Trump came in but now the field is far too split for him to gain any significant numbers or media coverage. Especially with Trump hogging the limelight.

But more generally, what is the plan? Trump seems to be killing his electability. Will the GOP let him take the nom if they know he'll lose the general election? Or is he trying to drop himself out and if so, why now? Is it to let Cruz, Rubio, or Carson face Hillary?

>why so eager
because a lot of the undecideds would jump toward Trump's camp. there's a lot of libertarian-tea party crossover, and most of them have been sitting on the fence waiting for the dust to clear between all the candidates
