I work in a place that gives me plenty of free printing. I pass at least 10 opportunities a day where I think "if only there were a sign that said X here" and never go with it. Usually it would be great. I'd go out one night pretty late and just put up a few signs and rip off signs of things I don't like.

I took the GRE (graduate records examination) test a week after I took the SAT and I aced it. I had awesome scores, had been a full time college student throughout my high school years, and had created my own non-profit and managed a webforum for people with genetic disease.
My advice if you're trying to get into an Ivy League college and don't have a sob story is to do this: make yourself a unique candidate. You have to stand out in some way. There's going to be a huge number of candidates with great scores (some better than mine) but if you can stand out in some way that will help.
