If you really think about it what I do as a living is the same thing as playing a complex puzzle game on a screen all day (circuit simulations, layouts, testing etc). I was given limited game time as a kid and pressured into academics and I did go outside a lot when I was young but still. It all comes down to being conditioned to be a super specialized wage slave. I like to think I have skills but in the end tech skills are worthless in the real world.
