Asexuality is a real thing that's been around hell of a lit longer than tumblritis. Some people actually are asexuals and aren't special snowflakes about it. Tumblr picked it up and is making actual asexuals look ridiculous. I actually know a guy who has never heard of tumblr/the internet and is on the autism spectrum, who has told me that he just has no interest in men or women, he just likes to build models and study.

Like a lot of conditions glamorised by tumblrinas, I believe asexual is real but it's completely different from what they think it is and nowhere near as common as what they say. Most 'asexuals' are simply betas and uggos that have no chance of getting laid or people dying to bring some attention to themselves, usually both. I know someone that constantly brings up his asexuality around his female friends (that coincidentally walk all over him), yet can't keep his eyes off a great pair of tits when they're out of the way.
