Athiests have no higher power (ignoring law/country etc.) forcing them to follow arbitrary rules or cloud their beliefs. It is impossible for peoples following religion to experience true confidence with the choke hold it has on your life, by forcing you into certain beliefs. Whilst Christianity is one of the least guilty of this there are many who are so restricted by these religious guidelines they become intolerant of those who don't believe what they do.
