I have been thinking about whether incest is ok or not.
The most that I ever come up with is:
1) The family may have issues
2) Society may have issues (general taboo)
3) Reproduction has higher chance of genetic defect
If you remove reproduction and also the taboo, what else do you have that could be used against it? I have issue thinking of anything.
Most people that are born and raised with their siblings don't have attraction. There is a natural repulsion for one's own. However, this is far less likely to happen if siblings lives apart from the cruicial times in their upbring.

Homosexuality itself are also outliers. Being overly concerned over a very small fraction of the population not reproduction (which isn't always true) seems to be a waste of effort. Nothing about gay marriage promotes the idea that there is nothing important in marriage in starting a family. Gays can either adopt or reproduce (with one genetically related). When this happens, the benefits in the marriage license can help to support family growth.
The overwhelming number of heterosexuals are still fully capable of reproducing and I doubt that people are just going to stop reproducing because of gay marriage. It's instinctive. People have raging hormones and things happen. People fall in love and they insinctively feel the need to have a child.
All of these minorities groups are outliers and what the heterosexual couples do or do not do is entirely up to them.
And it isn't a sport, they take part of the marriage for multiple reasons. For one, it can be seen as a romantic and symbolc gesture of their joining together. These couples have deep affection for one another. The rights within the license don't only cover the reproductive elements but the social and financial and many more. When people are this close together, they join a lot together as a result. Calling it a sport doesn't do this sort of connection justice. They are deeply committed and loving and very much sexually involved pair.
Japan has seen a large decrease in couple pairings and shut-ins and reproductions. Blaming this on homosexuals seems disconnected. The drives of a heterosexual couple are strong. It's more fitting to blame the financial and society issues that prevent it. The Japanese work long hours and they are a high pressure society. Many heteros don't reproduce because they don't make enough money.
