Does /pol/ generally agree that ISIS' objective with these terror attacks is to incite enough anti-muslim sentiment from the west to make muslim populations easy to convert/control? I could see this being a long and drawn out campaign. If true, this really would lead to the next Crusade.

WOW WE BETTER NOT HURT THEIR FEELINGS GUYS SINCE ITS 2015
theyre not stupid
they know that the west has evolved into keks and theyre taking advantage of it
Well, ny theory is that since only the strongest countries will react in a powerful manner, the muslim populace will be fed an image that their faith is under attack. What do you guys think?

No. ISIS already controls the Muslim populations in the west. They are testing the water to see how much they can get away with since they know nobody will stop them.

Why do you imagine there is an objective beyond terror itself?
>>55868115
Muslim populace where? America? France? The Middle East? This has already been done, and - at least partly - refuted by the West.

ISI control... what? How have they achieved this momentous result, poster?
>>55865751
Yes, but on the other hand if we don't change policy in reaction they will just continue to hit us.
No matter what, they benefit from the situation. Best move is to take drastic action before ISIS has a chance to recruit more people. But that won't happen either.

The West caused it first you imbecile. You kill millions there, you impose dictators there, you support terrorists--you fucking freed ISIS and funded them--and now you cry and get angry when they kill some people.
fuck you all
global capitalism will implode on itself

they want to establish a worldwide Caliphate. The need to eliminate the 'grey area' - those muslims who aren't picking sides. Basically, they're trying to push that narrative Dubya was pushing with his whole axis of evil thing after 9/11. Either you're with the west, or you support the Caliphate, there is no in between. That's what ISIS is trying to make happen.
