>Free college
>Paid for by taxing the 1%
>The top 1% makes an average annual income of about 1 Trillion USD per year.
>There is more than 3 Trillion USD in student debt in the US, today.
>Even taxed at 100%, the top 1% could not conceivably earn enough income to cover the cost of college.

Another (You) shill b8 m8
His entire position is based on giving millenials $15 an hour and free college
He wants to make a college degree the new high school diploma, thus making people go to grad school to actually distinguish themselves, which will put them into the same debt that the bachelors degree would
He is completely clueless on any foreign policy, directly linking "climate change" to international terrorism. He also cannot talk about anything without trying to link it back to the 1%.
Also during the debate he was talking about gun control, I don't know much about Vermont but other anons made it seem like there's practically no gun control and almost no gun crime. Apparently he doesn't see the link.
CLIMATE CHANGE CAUSES TERROISM

Most student debt is from private schools kin. I don't think Sanders wants to pay for conservative religious nutjobs to go to school.

also, the 1% will just leave. so instead of getting some tax money, Bernie will get substantially less, maby 30% of what he thought he'd get.

I didnt know that.. ok..He's a fucking joke..

It's worse than that. It's only covering tuition. So there's still:
Administrative Fees
Room and Board
Books
The plan also outlines a few things:
Schools must increase tenure rates to 75% of staff
States have to cover 33% of tuition costs
States have to cover all other scholarship needs of a student that qualifies for a Pell Grant, but the Pell Grant doesn't satisfy the full cost of school.
The schools must maintain OR increase spending levels.
Schools must have policies that direct a student recruitment levels are maintained OR increase [You cannot lower student count].
Basically: It increases the number of people available to go to school. Those people must be accepted. Those people must be covered by the state. 75% of all staff must be tenured. So if at any point attendance drops, the schools have a large herd of teachers that won't be going anywhere, but still have a paycheck they can draw.

He took his honeymoon in the Soviet Union.

Not to mention the data that shows a direct correlation between increased college subsidies and the collective price of admission.

Honestly, I don't get the hate for Sanders.
He and Trump are the only two candidates that have a clear track record and know what they're doing.
Most of his proposals are literally middle right european standpoints. Yet in the US he's a communist.
I might not agree with him on some points, but the majority, he's spot on.
My dream ticket would be: Trump/Sanders. Let Trump fix the foreign and economical needs and Sanders reform the education and social sector.
