If these sheltered middle class liberal fucking idiots had ever interacted with any homeless person they would know that they're homeless because they want to be, usually due to crippling drug/alcohol addiction and/or mental illness. Besides that, if our countries weren't being strained constantly by migrants we would have more resources towards fixing these issues. Our tax money goes towards safety nets and welfare which is a system abused by brown people who came here in the last decade.

Vancouver Police have absolutely zero system for dealing with homeless or the mentally ill.
I work Security and we get a lot of transients on our property, many mentally ill. One threatened a fucking child with physical violence and they shooed him off our private property. No arrest or anything - ones he is back on public property they don't care.
The rest of the time they catch and release - I've seen them arrest the same man three times for assaulting women and then he's on the streets later that same night or the next day
