microsoft was right. we could have prevented this #4theplayers

>>55847256
if the game allows you to "spell out" anything it coud be used to send a message.

> using any 3D building/engineering game to provide attack plans
> writing instructions on monopoly money
> setting up a connect 4 board for a coded message
>>
>>55847569
You could use blocks books or signs in autismcraft.

So the obvious choice is to allow the government to monitor any game that lets you spell out anything?

Fuck off.

i actually thought of that years and years ago when i was like 10 yo. Except i imagined it for drug dealing and it was on warcraft III. Still feeling like a genius here.
>>
>>55847256
Why not, it seems like a pretty fool-proof way to leave a message. I could see any smart, terrorist using this as a means for plotting out a major massacre.
>>
>>55848336

They could also use e-mails, IRC, chat rooms, reddit, 4chan, Facebook, even fucking Myspace. It doesn't mean they should be allowed to monitor it.
>>
>>55848437
Yes, and you are much more likely to get caught using those medians as a means of communication.
>>
>>55847978
The NSA can only bypass encryption if your a complete fucking moron using Windows and using a proprietary encryption service.

Playstation 4 is not some weird network. If they can private message on PS4 undetected, they can do it somewhere else. What justification do you have for invading millions of people by monitoring their PS4 chats?
>>
>>55849005
Because terrorists can be stupid. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't these guys communicate over facebook or something as well.
>>
>>55848960
It looks like it's for outdoor activities, like hiking and camping.
>>
>>55848571
Thank you for the overt shilling, NSA. The government has a hand in all proprietary encryption services and is the source of a lot of non-proprietary ones. They also strongarm people who try to make an encryption that is out of their reach.

Any form of direct communication using the internet, email, IRC, or cell phone should be assumed to be vulnerable. You're better off using snail mail, but I wouldn't doubt that they have some means of scanning a letter's contents without opening it.
>>
>>55849110
Theyve probably used all sorts of things. What justifies monitoring?
>>
>>55849320
Cmon kid, I know RSA and NSA sound a like, but you can't be this retarded.
This isn't some kind of sekrit crypto method, it's literally just math that can't be broken unless you had some kind of quantum computer.
It's not a program it's an ALGORITHM.

>You're better off using snail mail, but I wouldn't doubt that they have some means of scanning a letter's contents without opening it.
The earliest incarnations of Intelligence agencies have been using "Black Chambers" since 200+ years ago. In them, they perfected the art of unsealing / opening mail and reading them without the recipient or sender having known.

I think it's safe to assume snail mail is vulnerable too.
Just talk to people face to face.
>>
>>55849845
So invading the rights of millions of Americans is perfectly okay with you?

I'm talking about Europe. We here in the US of A have guns and I'm confident in our ability to mow down terrorists.
>>
>>55847800
did i fucking say anything like that shit?
no you fucking retard.

i thought that giving 3 examples of common types of games being used for shit would prove the point of how fucking impossible and insane the position of "monitor games for terror" would be.
guess i needed to be more verbose to get through that thick fucking monkey skull of yours.
>>
i find it so cute when girls try to be like boys
>>
This shit is so stupid, god knows they'll do it anyway. Once that is cracked, terrorists will move onto communicating by spelling out messages with semen on celebrity photos. Their main communications guy will be tired so they'll call up Habeeb and he'll be like, I just got done with the goat, sorry no more "ink."
