The comics are in fact not sarcastic. Kelly is a redpilled right wing conservative.

He has to mask his real, sarcastic opinions behind a layer of "sarcasm" that appears as a real opinion, to be allowed to write for the Onion, to this day they still dont suspect a thing

I went to a four year state college (SEC school). Graduated with no debt.

It wasn't even that difficult, just worked part time. Received scholarships for tuition. (Most states, if not all states have scholarships that are easy to get. They just require some easy classes in high school, including two foreign language classes and either physics or chemistry.)

I didn't work that hard or borrow money to do it. Simple.

People just like to complain.

Yes I fucking KNOW it's "satire" but that doesn't stop you guys from making the same, serious as fuck posts that make this piece of satire Poe's law. Every day on this board there is some version of this college-student hating bait thread. That post wasn't directed at Kelly that post was directed at /pol/ who believe the same thing without the satire.

My degree was in something STEM related too. I'd love to see your autistic NEET asses wake up before noon and actually go do heavy math. Nope, your day consists of shitposting pictures of black dicks on an anonymous image board for "politics".

Actually, I found Kelly's real backstory:

The JIDF would edit his comics, but they're too busy editing Horsey and Ben Garrison's comics while shilling and counting shekels that they just go "oy vey, it's satire goyim"

Alright, no need to autism everywhere. It's mostly friendly banter.
I'm in college for a STEM degree right now.
I just find people that think going to college makes them better than everyone else are annoying. Especially when their degrees are easy as fuck bullshit.
It's what you do with your education that defines you. A college degree doesn't mean anything.

>It's mostly friendly banter.

Friendly banter works in real life when you can see someone's facial expression. If I said "Yeah I have trouble after college with the job market, it sucks especially when we were all told the opposite would happen."

And I get nothing but accusations what my degree was or what my personal politics are, which is hilariously opposite of what the accusations are. That's just shit posting. Knee-jerk emotional reaction shit posting.

I think people who go to college ARE better in a way. But that's a "better" not better. Better in certain aspects like going in the military better at certain things too. It shows, despite your reasons, you put in SOME kind of effort. I had to go to these classes, put up with these people, sacrifice hobbies, interests and everything else to study difficult stuff. The fact I graduated at all means the effort was there. That's what the degree means. It means you DID SOMETHING. And that effort, mine, yours and everyone else's gets shit all over in the these threads.

Contrary to /pol/ memes, not everyone goes to college for a gender studies degree. My university doesn't even have that.

>So don't take it personally when college is mocked. It's not against you.

Welll... I... okay.

You calmed me down Anon. Thanks for not being a dick. I take things too personally. But I still don't think a lot of college subjects and degrees are worthless. Like studying history or literature isn't worthless. Society needs scholars, we need historians, we need artists there are other jobs besides math ones that need to be done.

I think people have MADE it worthless though by pulling this "if it's not math it's easy and I can half ass through it" like how many girls I know who go for art degrees and don't finish them for whatever, usually boy-friend-drama related issue. However I know girls who took it seriously and now they're doing movie prop stuff. See, "art" wasn't useless because someone needs to know how to paint the movie set. That person made use of their knowledge.

Like you said. It's about how you use it. Unfortunately you can't use certain degrees without an actual job. I know a guy with a nano-engineering degree. He can't find a job. He just nano-machines in his kitchen either. That's as STEM as it gets but without the job would you say his degree is worthless?

So I think... what made degrees "useless" or "worthless" was that people used it or expect it to be used as a bullet on a resume. Like "here's the piece of paper, can I get a job now" and they're doing that in response to the people with the jobs going "DUR DUR WE NEED THE DEGREE!" because that SOUNDS good. Right? Even though their own HR practices don't even follow that. So they turned getting an education, something that had intrinsic value, into something that's valued by someone else paying for it directly.

The comics are a redpill vaccine. By exposing readers to actual vaguely redpill cartoons under the guise of "satire" they're teaching readers to automatically disregard any actual redpill material in the future. It's pretty basic social engineering when you think about it.
